Spacious Addition in Winchester

This spacious addition to a Craftsman style home in Winchester was designed to add functional space for a busy family.  The rear corner of the home was bumped out in two directions, creating an enlarged kitchen and custom seating area, a mudroom and laundry area with loads of creative storage, and a welcoming back entrance.  This job involved extensive structural steel and foundation work, as well as complicated roof lines and framing.  Post and beam construction, custom siding and trim, and Craftsman details were replicated to create an addition that allows for modern conveniences and increased living area while blending seamlessly with the original home.
