Kittery Point, ME
2015
A complete transformation of this large kitchen, believed to have been originally built from a Sears, Roebuck & Co. kitchen plan, resulted in a stunning place to cook and entertain. The kitchen was completely redesigned with high end gourmet appliances, gleaming quartz countertops, and a custom tile backsplash. White Shaker style cabinets maximize storage space, creating a highly functional and modern yet classic space. The limited but crisp and vibrant color palette and loads of natural light make it a wonderful gathering space. Views of the marsh are optimized with seven new windows and open sight lines from all angles. A newel post original to the home was incorporated into the design, the connection to the history of the home being essential to the new homeowners.
